Roles and Responsabilities

A WORK PACKAGES (WP) ORGANIZATION:

  • 9 WP, 1 per development process
  • Studies, Expression of needs, Users requirements
  • Experimental tasks to evaluate the products
  • Assessment of candidate tools


AT TOPCASED PROJECT LEVEL:

*The Steering Committee (SC=All partners representatives + Isaure program representative) decides:

  • The strategic guidance and management of Topcased
  • The Topcased communication
  • The integration of new contributors
  • The Topcased roadmap
  • The Topcased charter and statutes
  • The resources and the use of funding


*The Technical Committee (TC=All partners representatives voted by the SC) is responsible for all development aspects of Topcased:

  • The coordination and integration of developments
  • The quality
  • The ressources of development
  • The reporting toward the SC
  • To establish relations with Eclipse fundation


*The Quality Group (TBC for V3) (composed by some TC members) is responsible for:

  • The quality policy definition for Topcased
  • The quality requirements definition for Projects
  • The quality evaluation of projects


AT COMPONENT LEVEL PROJECT:

  • The Project Management Committee (PMC): coordination of projects/sub-project, management of the feature requests and of the priorities
  • The Project Team: the manager, the commiter, the integrator, the tester
